What would you like to see more of in Hamilton?
I would like to see a continuation of the progress we have witnessed over the past several years with art, entertainment, employment, events, and eateries making Hamilton a purposeful destination.
What community member inspires you?
Pastor Shaquila Mathews of Truth and Life Church in Hamilton inspires me. She is a Hamilton native, and I met her a couple years ago when she moved back to town and opened a church near the police department. I was immediately struck by her passion and energy for making Hamilton better. She has launched several great initiatives and programs to help young people succeed. She has a calling to help the community and her commitment is inspiring.
